BodyTrace Scale

Why do I need to step on the scale?
Stepping on the scale is a great opportunity to learn more about your body and how it is responding to the different lifestyle changes you are making throughout the program. Stepping on the scale provides the Inspirator with objective feedback as to how to adjust the recommendations they are making to ensure that you achieve the best outcomes. The bottom line is that if you want to lose weight and improve your health, you need to monitor it. You try a new habit and you look at the graphs in real time using the Newtopia Achieve on the Go app to see how this new habit will impact your weight, while your Inspirator will provide ongoing guidance on how to make changes.

How often should I use my scale?
We recommend that you step on the scale a minimum twice a week. You can use your scale as often as you want, all measurements will be transmitted and appear on your Achieve on the Go mobile app in real-time.

How much weight should I be expected to lose in the program?
Newtopia sets a minimum goal of 5% body weight reduction by month 12. A change of 5% in your body weight can change physiological markers in the body such as blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol values, and BMI. This will help you reduce your risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease, type 2 diabetes and stroke.

Can others use my scale?
Your scale is intended for your use while in the Newtopia program.
We understand that sometimes family members, or pets may step on it!
It is best to reserve your scale for your own use. This ensures your weight readings throughout the Newtopia program are accurate.
If another individual with a similar weight steps on your scale, it is possible their weight may appear in your Achieve on the Go mobile app. In most cases, other’s weights will automatically be filtered out and not appear. Please check your weight graph in the Newtopia Achieve on the Go app to determine if you have any incorrect weight readings and share that information with your Inspirator.
