Newtopia is pleased to welcome healthcare veteran Mark Jackson as its new Senior Vice President, Commercial. Jackson will oversee Newtopia’s efforts to bring its proven habit change platform for disease prevention to employers and other strategic partners in the U.S.
Jackson has nearly 30 years of sales, business development, and account management experience across various sectors of the healthcare industry. His areas of expertise include precision medicine, healthcare IT, telehealth and insurance. Most recently Mark served as AVP of Connected Care at NantHealth, a specialized healthcare IT company. He was responsible for leading the business development efforts for Nant’s genomic testing product offering. In this role, he worked closely with brokers, consultants, self-insured employers, health plans and health systems.

Jackson earned his bachelor’s degree in History from Lenoir Rhyne University and holds a Medicare Secondary Payer Professional Designation as well as a NC Life and Health Insurance License. Mark is married with three children and serves his community as Chairman of the Board at NAMI Charlotte and Executive Board Member at Life Connections of The Carolinas. He is also a member of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity and volunteers at KIPP Charlotte.
